How is it that a toddlers heels get more press than an adults? Her anchor dress here is adorable too, perfect for resort wear.http://celebritymusthave.wordpress.com/2009/11/16/suri-with-an-anchor-on-top/
how is it that toddlers wear high heels? sure, they are fun as a dress up outfit once or twice, but being worn by a 3 y o on daily basis are definitely not right...please someone defend it?
i have defended it earlier, and i will do it again.these are not dress up shoes, these are professional dance-wear shoes! so, the girls probably had a dance class and Suri loves these shoes so much, she wants to wear them every day... i dont really see a problem here.
I realise they are dance-wear shoes and I don't think anyone in their right mind would produce high heels for toddlers for everyday wear. but is letting a 3 y o wear high heels ALL the time appropriate or healthy? I doubt it. I have a 3,5 y o daughter I adore too, and I love to dress her in pretty clothes and stuff but if she requested high heels and make-up to wear outside on everyday basis I'd simply tell her she's too little for that. she can understand a meaning of the word 'no'. bare arms and legs or no hat while it's freezing cold outside also meets with the 'no'. I just don't get Kate and Tom's parenting methods, that's all.
i think, each of us as a parent has a right for his own opinion & parenting style..."no hat" is totally ok..and bare legs in the rain look a bit wied, but as long as she doesnt get sick after such walk, that its fine we me...but, oh well, maybe iam too democratic... :)
sure, and I'm too totalitarian ;-)oh well, I guess we'll just have to wait and see what the effect of Suri's liberal upbringing will be, cause the sense of style - she has that secured for life for sure.ps. how come no hat in freezing cold is ok? am I missing something or am I just plain stupid forcing my little one to wear a hat in the winter? it wrecks her hairdo, I know I know but I still make her wear one! should I stop to bother?
well, my daughter is 5 years old..and even if its below zero we go out of the house without the hat for short rounds like to preschool, shopping and stuff like that...most of the times i do have a hat in my bag, but she almost never asks for it...and i think, we should really take into consideration, that Suri is mostly out on the street for a short period of time, like in-out of the car to the store or bakery and etc...
