With Suri Cruise being one of the most fashionable Hollywood kids around, it's easy to assume that mom Katie Holmes is the one doing the styling.

Turns out three-year-old Suri does quite well on her own, thank you very much.

We caught up with Tom and Katie at last night's T: The New York Times Style Magazine party at Chateau Marmont. We talked Suri and this is what they had to say…

"Just so you know, she dresses herself," Tom said. "She really does. She picks out everything on her own."

Katie added, "She really does. She has such cute style."

Like a proud papa, Tom says he doesn't "care one single bit" how popular Suri is with us folks here at Eonline—even if it means she upstages mom and dad. "I love it," he said. "I think that's great. How can you not love her? She's wonderful. I really appreciate that. She's a joy."

As for Suri going into show business, Tom said, "We want her to do whatever makes her happy. She can decide on her own."

Katie Holmes‘ “Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark” co-star Bailee Madison was interviewed about the movie and they asked her what Katie and Suri Cruise are really like.

On what Katie Holmes is really like: “She is so sweet, so kind. She was like my mother on the set. When my mom couldn’t get to me, she was there and she was making sure I was alright. It was such an amazing experience to meet her and you know, be a part of all the love she shares.”

On Suri Cruise: “Suri is just the cutest little thing. It was so much fun. We would have dance parties and just would have so much fun. Suri is just such a little sweetheart. They’re both so, so sweet.”
 

On Suri’s acting aspirations: “You know, she’s got it. She could be a dancer. Whatever she wants, she can put her mind to it.”

LA, January 2010

Suri and her parents spent an evening out at the Ahmanson Theatre to see the LA engagement of hot musical Mary Poppins, on Wednesday, 6.

This is the second time Suri has seen the world’s most famous nanny on stage. Katie brought her to see the Broadway production in August 2008 during NY rehearsals for her own Broadway debut in Arthur Miller’s All My Sons.


unfortunately, out of this single picture we have so far from that evening, its hard to tell what Suri is wearing, apparently its a short-sleeves dress.. and she is holding her favorite Seashell purse.

Suri and Katie pick up several bouquets of Christmas Eve flowers at a specialty market in Los Angeles on Thursday, 24.


Suri is wearing English Rose Dots Rainboots by Kidorable, which she first wore in Australia on July 28th 2009.

Suri is also wearing Silk Ruffle Dress in Green by Holmes & Yang.

Honestly, i expected more creativity from Katie and her designer-friend, rather than recreating one single dress in all of the rainbow colors... blah.

Pleasant surprise is to see Suri out on a Christmas Day! :)

Suri Cruise has topped the charts in a UK study as most fashionable child celebrity.

Adam Childrenswear who carried out the study says, “‘Suri is almost a celebrity in her own right thanks to her cute looks and her amazing wardrobe.

”She has outfits that rival A-list celebs and this gets her more column inches than many movie stars.”

So who voted in their poll? Only 3,000 parents. Suri beat The Beckham boys, Gwen Stefani’s son Kingston, and Madonna’s daughter Lourdes in the poll.

The company’s researchers also discovered that more than a quarter of the parents polled like to dress their children in a similar style to celebrity offspring. Here’s their top ten most fashionable celebrity kids:

Spain, December 2009

Katie & Tom celebrate her 31st birthday at an Irish pub in Sevilla, Spain on Thursday, 17.
Also joining in on the fun were the family’s kids Suri, Connor and Isabella and Tom’s Knight and Day co-star Cameron Diaz.

Happy Birthday, Katie!

After spending time together to celebrate, the Cruises headed straight to the airport and headed home from Spain after wrapping up filming earlier that day.

oh, well, here we go again....


Suri is wearing for the 6th time Highlighter Skater Tank Dress in Pink by American Apparel, and for a change she decided to layer it with short-sleeves white tee.

outfit is perfectly suitable for a night out at the pub... :)
